Mayo Resort is located on the north coast of Bali, near to the town of Seririt and about 12km west of Lovina. This is the real Bali, serene, beautiful, traditional and and uncommercialised, the complete opposite of the chaotic south.

We are perfectly located at the tip of a headland, where the Bali Sea surrounds us on three sides, against a backdrop of rolling hills, rice fields and vineyards.

It is a truly privileged location; this is a tranquil neighbourhood of luxury resorts, and exclusive villas; well known as a refuge for those seeking inner peace and a popular destination for meditation, yoga and other spiritual wellness.

We live in a rain-shadow, so we enjoy an unusually sunny and dry micro-climate, with gentle sea breezes to keep you comfortable.

Only the coral reefs lie between you and the resplendent blue of the sea. With a shoreline stretching the entire length of our property and hundreds of metres beyond, and many areas ideal for swimming, you will enjoy an intimate connection with the water that no other resort or hotel can offer, with snorkelling on your doorstep, a rowing boat for your use and diving nearby.

The sunsets will mesmerize you; each day you will be witness to a three-hour ritual that begins in mid-afternoon when the sun has fallen low enough to reflect off the sea. The resplendent shimmering light will raise your spirits and enhance your well-being; it is a spectacle that lasts until a fiery red disc sinks below the volcanoes of East Java and the rolling hills of West Bali in the far distance.

Our renowned seafood restaurant Bora Bora – the Bar & Bistro by the Beach is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the bar is open all day. It has seating for 30 persons, plus additional capacity for private functions in the gardens. In addition to its signature dishes of grilled and fresh seafood it offers a range of international dishes, as well as sandwiches, salads, soup, pasta, pizzas, burgers and tapas, a selection of Balinese and other Asian dishes, and options for vegetarians and for children.
